Top Productions by The Telly Awards

20/20 Visual Media has been awarded amongst thousands of competitors worldwide by The Telly Awards for their excellence in production, including two silver awards and one bronze People’s Telly Award.

The 2017 Little League World Series: Omar Romero, La Bujía video received the Silver Telly Award for general documentary as well as the People’s Telly Bronze for Non-Broadcast production. This video profiled an 11-year-old, 4-foot-8, 90 pound, Venezuelan Little League player, nicknamed “La Bujía” (spark plug) who dedicated his success on the field to the memory of his grandmother and uncle whose deaths both occurred within a 40 day time period.

The Valley Forge Sports: “We’re Ready” video also received Silver Award under General Travel and Tourism Category. This was a campaign commercial highlighting Montgomery County, Pennsylvania’s best attractions and facilities for hosting sports tournaments.

“We are very honored to be recognized for the story-telling that we do. Whether we are shining the light on a baseball prodigy or promoting the local world-class tourism, we pour our heart and soul into the production we are tasked with,” says Ed Seiders, director of business development for 20/20 Visual Media.

Since 1979, The Telly Awards have been recognizing video productions across all platforms. Each year, around 12,000 entries from all over the world are submitted to The Telly Awards. The awards are granted by the Judging Council which consists of more than 200 industry leaders.

“As we move further forward into a video-everywhere economy, where audiences view work on multiple platforms and creators create for every screen, the Telly Awards will continue to make sure excellent work is being celebrated,” comments Sabrina Dridje, managing director for The Telly Awards.
